What is Negligence?

In law, negligence stems from a duty that is owed to anyone/someone and that duty is breached and the breach results in damage.
When someone is sued for negligence, the jury & the court can only award damages.
What is Gross Negligence?
s the reckless and extreme departure from ordinary care that results in another's injury or harm. Gross negligence is also the willful disregard of one's actions that can be proven through repeated behavior.
Because of the the flagrant disregard for laws and norms, in legal matters that involve gross negligence, injured parties can be awarded #punativedamages as well.
